Pashali R. Anvarov


The founder of the Ahiska Student Association, established the organization in February 2020. A graduate in Accounting and International Business from the University of Georgia, Pashali's passion for education and community led to the creation of ASA. With a background in the accounting, Pashali's expertise contributes to ASA's mission of empowering minds and advocating for higher education within the Meskhetian Turkish community.


Diana Muktazova

Vice President

Introducing Diana Mukhtazova, a motivated and accomplished individual who currently serves as the Vice President of the Ahiska Student Association. With an MBA and a strong accounting background, Diana possesses extensive knowledge in financial matters and is actively working towards becoming a certified CPA. However, her passions extend far beyond her academic achievements. Diana is deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the world. She dedicates her energy to the association's initiatives, particularly those focused on improving education for ASA members. Through her unwavering commitment to personal growth and selflessness, Diana serves as an inspiring role model, positively impacting her peers and the community she serves.


Kamal Lomashvili

Outreach Coordinator

Kamal, who graduated from Georgia State University with a Biology degree, has consistently held the belief that education is crucial for empowering young individuals. His personal journey aligns closely with ASA's mission, emphasizing his strong commitment to nurturing intellectual growth and preserving our distinct culture. Joining ASA was a logical progression for Kamal, and in his role as the Outreach Coordinator, he is fully devoted to advocating for students' aspirations and ensuring they have access to necessary resources and mentorship. Given Kamal's background and enthusiasm, he brings great value to our dedicated team as we collaboratively strive for a brighter and more educated future.


Milyazim Anvarov


Milyazim Anvarov, a founder of the Ahiska Student Association, is an individual who embodies humility, strong motivation, and resilience. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Georgia. Milyazim's zeal lies in the fields of engineering and construction, and he is currently pursuing a career in Construction Management. Presently, he is employed by an international construction consulting firm, where he oversees the management of industrial projects. Despite his numerous achievements, Milyazim remains grounded and humble, always valuing the power of teamwork and collaboration. 


Sabina Komilova

Founder/Media Director

Meet, Sabina Komilova, a remarkable individual who embodies the spirit of ambition, compassion, and entrepreneurial drive. With a strong educational foundation in accounting and experience in corporate tax accounting, she has harnessed her skills to create positive change in both the professional and philanthropic realms. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sabina has also made a significant contribution as the founder of ASA. By creating this platform, she empowered fellow students to engage in meaningful social initiatives, fostering a sense of community and inspiring others to make a lasting impact. 


Hayriye Polik

Events Director

Serving as the Events Director of ASA, Hayriye Polik is a beacon of dedication and inspiration. With an academic foundation rooted in a Biochemistry degree from Georgia Tech and a Masters of Medical Sciences degree from Agnes Scott College, her credentials speak volumes. It's her hands-on experience in the high-pressure environment of a molecular pathology laboratory, where she specialized in Inherited Cancer Genetics and COVID testing, that truly sets her apart. Hayriye's meticulousness, intelligence, and articulate manner reflect her professional demeanor. Her tenacity and unyielding determination are evident in her aspirations to pursue medical school. Beyond the lab, her compassion radiates through her ongoing internship at Divine Dermatology and her heartfelt volunteer work at the Children's Hospital of Atlanta's NICU department. Her commitment to education isn't just personal; it's a mission. Through her role at ASA, Hayriye aims to enlighten and guide aspiring students about diverse career pathways, drawing from her own journey as a testament to what's achievable. A staunch advocate for women's empowerment, she fervently believes in harmonizing career ambitions with familial responsibilities and successfully embodies this synergy in her own journey.
